Over de film
Isabel is een bruisende sommelier die (heel) erg van haar wijn houdt en in een Michelin-sterrenrestaurant in São Paulo werkt. Door de beste wijnen te selecteren, combineren, en delen met de gasten, is Isabel het levende bewijs dat een heerlijke wijn beter smaakt in goed gezelschap. Voor velen lijkt het misschien een droom, maar niet voor Isabel — zij wordt constant klein gehouden door een baas die geen ruimte heeft voor haar creatieve en gewaagde passie voor wijn. Voor Isabel is wijn zoiets dat het meest essentiële deel van je ziel wordt. Fay Breeman (Studio Camera) gaat na de film met ze in gesprek.

About the film
Isabel is a sparkling somelière who (really) likes her wine and works at a Michelin-starred restaurant in São Paulo. Selecting, pouring, and marrying the best wines, exchanging and sharing them with the guests, Isabel is the living example that a delicious wine tastes better in good company. For many, it might seem like a dream, but not for Isabel — constantly made to feel small by a boss who has no room for her creative and daring passion for wine. For Isabel, wine is one of those things that becomes the most essential part of your soul. Done with her toxic boss, she chooses to uncork her destiny on her own terms and decides to open her own wine bar.

The film will celebrate its Dutch premiere during the 14th edition of the Rotterdam open-air festival Roffa Mon Amour. After that, the film will tour the Netherlands, accompanied by director Gabe Klinger and actress Marina Person. They will also visit de Sien for this special screening! Following the film, Fay Breeman (Studio Camera) will host a Q&A session.
